BRFC - Year 5 Move and Learn event

Mr Thew's Year 5 class will be taking part in a 5 week programme very Thursday ran by Blackburn Rovers Community Trust. This programme is designed to encourage physical activity, promote nutritional education and build awareness of the importance of a healthy diet and active lifestyle.

Year 5 local walk

As part of Year5's geography topic on ‘Rivers’ we have organised a local walk and trip to Witton Park on Friday, 2nd December, with the Rivers Trust. (Weather permitting) At the park there will be a range of practical activities including pond dipping, measuring the width, depth and speed of the river. The children will require OLD trainers or wellington boots and a warm coat to participate in these activities.

Carol Service at Blackburn Cathedral

Year 5 and Year 6 are singing carols at Blackburn Cathedral on Wednesday 14th December from 1.00pm -1:30pm. All are welcome to come and watch the service. Any Parents/Carers watching the service are welcome to take their child/ren home when the service has finished.
