Some of our artwork in the style of Keith Haring.
Some lovely outcomes from our year 4 children today. I am really proud of you all.
We have working in the way of Keith Haring. Creating art in his style outside in the playground and on the side path. Don’t forget to come and have a look at what we have created. Let us know what you think at hometime tonight on the yard.
With Mrs Hargreaves this afternoon we have been working on creating our own interpretations of the artist, Keith Haring. We have taking pride in our sketch books and learning the art of sketching.
Wow what an amazing last day of term we have had celebrating love. Today we researched Keith Haring - an American pop artist. We then recreated some of his artwork by drawing big shapes of love inspired by his art. We all had so much fun being creative.
Happy Love Day. Thank you to all parents for sending your children in red today, it was lovely to see everyone in their non-uniform! Today we have created some fantastic art inspired by Keith Haring! The children did a great job.
We have started our new topic in History, The Great Fire of London! We have looked at a timeline using toilet roll, to show us how long ago it really was. We then looked at some new vocabulary that we can use throughout the topic!
In Maths this week, we have been focusing on numbers to 20! We have wrote it and made the numbers in many different ways.
Art day- we have been looking at Keith Haring's art work today. We discussed how it made us feel. Lots of his work represents love and friendship. We then created our own Keith Haring inspired sculptures using clay.
Our post card and souvenir from Poland got lost in the post. Thankfully it arrived today. We loved tasting Polish sweets.
Our theme for pen party yesterday was the Christian value of LOVE.
