In Art, we have been doing observational painting of fruit and vegetables! We have used black water colour in different ways. They look brilliant!
We decided to have our English lesson in the sunshine! We created our story map for Mole’s Star!
We have started to explore money in Maths, we have been looking at different coins.
What a busy week we have had in Year 1! We started the week by playing with the parachute in the sunshine.
This afternoon we have had fun making our ‘doodlers’ as part of our DT project.
We have been learning about Pentecost in RE.
Year 2 have done a fantastic job on their hand puppet DT project! They successfully created colourful, secure, and appealing puppets, showing great resilience and enjoying the process.
What an amazing turn out we had for our year 3 parents and carers Geography Show it. We all had a brilliant time sharing our sticky knowledge about Spain.

This is when we started to sew and design our puppets. We can’t wait for you to see our end products at home time!
Yesterday in DT we started our hand puppet project. We used binca, a thread and needle to practice our sewing skills. The children did a great job and showed excellent resilience.
This week in Science, we continued our plant studies by exploring trees. We went on a local walk to examine different parts of trees, measured their trunks, and even made some bark rubbings. It was a great time, and we learned that every tree is unique!
