After recalling our knowledge of the history of Chinese New Year, we learnt about the type of food that is eaten and the dragon & lion dances in the parade. Reception loved trying some spring rolls and prawn crackers.

Reception have been exploring Chinese New Year! They learned about family traditions, lucky colours, and the story of the Zodiac. The children enjoyed sequencing the animals from ‘The Great Race’ and creating their own festive lanterns and cards.

Nana is this weeks speller of the week because she has achieved full marks in every spelling test this term. Well done Nana!

Year 4 is getting ready for Safer Internet Day! They’ve been exploring AI and debating "Okay vs. Not Okay" scenarios. It’s great to see such sharp critical thinking about staying safe online.
