Break time fun in the sun.
In Maths we are learning about building numbers beyond 10 :)
Lots of the children getting busy in provision today!
To end our DT week, we evaluated our design! We talked about wether we liked it and if it met our design criteria! We also sat in the sun and finished all the fruit that was left.
Finally, we made our smoothies! It was so much food and they tasted delicious. We had different stations to ensure we have all the ingredients in our smoothie.
DT week continued with skills practice. We learned to juice citrus fruits (very sour!), practiced safe cutting, and used the blender, getting us ready to create!
Last week's DT week was fantastic! We started by investigating fruits and vegetables, tasting smoothies and fruits, and surveying other year groups for their smoothie preferences.
We said a very fond farewell to Mrs Probert this morning with a special worship in her honour to celebrate all she has done during her 26 years of service to our school and community. Good Luck in your new venture.
A huge well done to all members of Blakewater (Blue) team. We all really enjoyed our Easter Egg hunt, our visit from the Easter bunny and eating lots of yummy chocolates. A huge thank you to our Easter bunny- we're sure many of you know who she is.
Well done to Year 4 and Reception for leading a wonderful whole school Easter worship! It was enjoyed by all, including a great turnout of parents and the community.
Welcome back to Miss Hunt this morning. Her first morning back for one of her keeping in touch days spent on our yard meeting and greeting the children, dressed as a chicken.
Making Easter biscuits in breakfast club this morning.
