Interfaith Week 2025 was a huge success! We celebrated and explored many faiths (Judaism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism) through fun activities like making friendship bracelets, lotus flowers, lanterns, and meditation.

In their second Junior Jam Computing session, Year 4 explored functions—the building blocks for efficient coding. They learned how these smart tools save repetition and make algorithms cleaner, using both visual Blockly and text-based Swift. Well done!

Our Interfaith week in action! Yesterday we learnt about Buddhism. We created a safe, cosy space in our classroom and meditated. We then created lotus flowers as a sign of mindfulness and peace.

A huge well done to the class for their Viking History Show It yesterday. This was a brilliant opportunity for them to demonstrate what they've learned and understood about the Vikings. It was wonderful to see their learning in action!

A Hands-On Look at Islamic Faith: Today, Faith Week exploration centered on the practice of Salat (Islamic prayer). After studying the different names and times of the daily prayers, the children then created their own prayer mats.

Interfaith week- Day 4: Buddhism. We read the story of The Monkey King and discussed peace and mindfulness. We made Lotus flowers because they are a symbol of purity, spiritual awakening, and enlightenment.
