Enjoying pen party outdoors today.

We started our work on patterns in maths today.

Archbishop of York Visits St Aidans' for Lord's Prayer Tour

Here are this week's VIPs. Having a cheeky hot chocolate, pack of sweets or biscuit and discussing the values we have shown in and around school this week.

Year 2 readers of the week! Last week our reader of the week was Munachi and this week was Somma. They have been chosen for super effort in Reading Practice. We are so proud of you girls!

This afternoon we have enjoyed juice, biscuits and a movie because we landed on the Mystery Prize on our attendance race to school game. It is so important to Be Here Everday Ready and On Time.

In History, we discussed what we could remember from our trip last week! We then built and labelled the different parts of our very own castle. We will be checking what we can remember next week when we are being busy bees!

Athena is one of Year 1's readers of the week!

We are working hard on our handwriting this afternoon!

Year 4 are Attendance H.E.R.O.s!

Music with Junior Jam introduced contrasting musical articulation on keyboards. The children focused on staccato (short, detached notes) and legato (smooth, connected notes), learning how these hands-on techniques dramatically alter a piece's style.

Year 3 and Year 6 have been busy this morning walking to deliver our Harvest donations to The Billy Project - well done everyone for showing our Values in Practice.
