Year 5 have been showing off some fantastic tennis skills in P.E this week!
Year 3's Reader of the Week! A huge congratulations to Ava, who has consistently shown her love of reading by always bringing her book in on time and reading every week. Well done, Ava! We're so proud of you!
I am very proud of year 6 for their art work today. We completed a session on drawing still objects using three clear shapes. We used black, thick paint, diluted paint, thick brushes and thin brushes to create our fruit and vegetable paintings.
Year 5 took part in the 'switched on' assembly about railway safety. Ask your child what they have learnt from the assembly.
This week in Maths we have been using numicon to help us to understand doubling, halving and the odd and even numbers.
We enjoyed our Rhyme Time in the sun.
More work on doubles.
Well done to our award winners this week - 20.3.25
Using a view finder to find marks made by artists.
Today in Science, Year 3 continued their exploration of light by investigating shadows. We asked the question, "Do shadows stay the same all day?"
In yesterday's art lesson, we discovered how to create different marks using a range of media, and we used shapes as a starting point for our drawings. The children loved the messy process!
Is it a double?
