In Science, we are focusing on Forces and Magnets. This week, we have been conducting experiments to understand why different surfaces have an impact on the movement of objects. Ask your child/ren what they found out.
Reception having fun in the sun
Last night we started our Messy church after school club! We had so much fun creating our own version of Joseph and his technicolor dream coat and listening to worship songs.
Today in our science lesson we have been investigating friction. Ask us what we have found out.
What a busy day we have had in reception.
Music with Junior Jam. We are learning to play the steel pan drums.
Working hard in PSHE recognising that being diverse is great but celebrating the things we do share in common- mainly a love of food in Year 4!
Year 2 have had a super busy week! Here we are enjoying dance in PE with Blackburn Rovers, using instruments in music with Junior Jam and using objects around our classroom for our measurement unit in Maths.
Today, we started our afternoon by practicing our handwriting and listening to relaxing music! We did a fabulous job.
In Maths, we have been counting by grouping in tens. This is an easier way for us to count numbers up to 50.
In Science, our new topic is Plants! In our first lesson we went on a nature walk to explore where plants grow and find out what plants we already know.
