We also looked at the fish and insects that live in the river. We talked about their life cycles which links to what we are learning in our science lessons.
We were taught about water safety and enjoyed acting out different scenarios.
We enjoyed our trip to Witton Park yesterday and were very lucky with the weather! Emily from Ribble Rivers Trust helped us to identify many features of rivers.

Look what special delivery arrived in Year 2 today. We can’t wait to see what the elf gets up to on the countdown to Christmas.
Over the past few weeks we have been focusing on our recognition board! These children have received the lanyards for always showing kindness and being a good friend to all. Well done! We will change the board again next week.
Yesterday we had No Pensday across the school! We completed a range of activities that supported our learning without using pens or pencils. Instead we used our oracy and fine motor skills.
