We have been working very hard in English and writing our own stories based on the book 'Cosmic' this morning.
Flexible partitioning in maths.
This afternoon in maths we have been using equipment to partition numbers in different ways.
Our PSHE topic this term is ‘Me and My Relationships’, in our lesson we recognised the different ways of expressing feelings and the helpful ways of responding to others feelings. Great circle time discussions Year 2!
Yesterday we had a visit from Blackburn Museum to show us a range of Victorian toys. We all had a go at playing with them and discussed how they are different to the toys we have today. We then made our own cup and balls.
Fine motor 16.09.23
A week in our continuous provision. During the day the children have the opportunity to learn through play. Carefully prepared activities allow children to learn the skills they need to develop.
