Our classroom has been full of magic and mystery this week!

To kick off our work on 'The Lost Happy Endings' by Jane Ray, the children have been busy crafting descriptive portraits of the wicked witch.

I am absolutely blown away by the spine-tinglingly good writing produced by the class. They have used sophisticated literary devices to bring this character to life (or should I say, to the shadows!)

The atmosphere in the room was electric as they read their descriptions aloud. It is clear we have some seriously talented authors in our midst!
