Mission Accomplished! We’ve finished our class novel, Cosmic by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. The children loved following Liam’s space adventures and having brilliant discussions about what it really means to grow up.

Today we hunted for a missing Bog Baby (eventually found in the office!) and created our own versions of the creature. A fantastic and fun start to our new book!

Inspired by the film Feast, Year 4 enjoyed a food tasting today! We used our senses to build a rich bank of descriptive adjectives.

We have had a special visitor in Reception! We had an email from Daddy bear asking if his family could come and stay in our cottage. Baby bear was feeling sad so we sang ‘Teddy bear, Teddy bear’ to cheer him up.

Our English lesson on "Bee and Me" was enriched today! With Mrs. Brownlie's help, we examined honeycomb and essential beekeeping tools, giving us a hands-on look at honey production and bee care. We finished by tasting fresh honey!

Our story of the week is Handa's Surprise! We can't wait to try some of the fruits from the story at snack time tomorrow.
