Today we have been practising our skills for DT week. Our first skill was cutting; we made our own jellyfish.

What a busy classroom we have had this afternoon! We made windmills out of LEGO and made them move, we had so much fun. Thankyou to the Year 6 children who helped us!

In our Lego therapy session this week, we have made a dinosaur. The children used their social and emotional strand of oracy by taking turns, talking and listening. The children worked well as a team.

Today in RE, we have been learning about the story of feeding the 5000. We had our own picnic and discussed the miracle that happened. We imaged sharing one biscuit and one drink between us all and we said it would not be enough.

In English, we have been looking at the features of a non-chronological text. This will prepare us for writing our own and help us with what we need to include.
