New Life in Bloom! As part of our Easter topic in RE, we have been busy planting cress this afternoon. It is a wonderful way for the children to visualise the theme of growth and new life. We can't wait to look after it and see how it grows!

We had a brilliant time celebrating World Book Day! The children took their learning outdoors, using story sacks to sharpen their retelling and oracy skills. It was a joy to see them exploring characters together and sharing their love of reading.

Year 1 had a brilliant time meeting Poppy the tortoise yesterday to bring their science and poetry lessons to life! The children were wonderfully gentle and followed all hand-washing rules perfectly. Huge thanks to Miss Sprot for the visit.

Yesterday afternoon, enjoyed a Spring walk spotting buds, blossom, and new flowers—a big change from Winter! We even linked this to our RE topic, Easter, by hunting for signs of new life.
