Our new topic in Geography is the United Kingdom. We have been exploring different resources, such as Google Earth, maps, globes, and images, to help us gain knowledge about our country and where it is located in the world.

Yesterday marked the beginning of our DT. week dedicated to creating delicious smoothies. To kick things off, we engaged in a lively discussion about various fruits and vegetables and then sorted them. This is the start of our investigating.

After that, we had a discussion about the origin of various fruits and vegetables and the fascinating process of their growth.

In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to try various smoothies and complete a chart indicating if they tasted sweet or sour, as well as whether we enjoyed them.

The children have just tasted lots of different fruit and vegetables so they can choose their favourite ones to put in their smoothie.

We are now focusing on our skills. This afternoon, we have been learning the skill of cutting and how to do it safely. This will make sure that when we cut our fruit for our smoothies, we are super safe and our fruit is cut perfectly.
