Finding 9 and 10 in maths.
In Art, we have been using all of the drawing techniques we have learnt to create an observational drawing of an apple. We have done a great job! Well done Year 1.
We’ve been super busy today!
Throwback to our Everest exploration day where we became Everest explorers and visited base camp!
Our Doctors are working hard today.
Decorating our outdoor area.
Today in Year 3, we had our first exciting lesson on iStop Motion in Computing with Junior Jam! We've all done a fantastic job so far, learning about stop motion animation and even starting to create our own short films.
Well done to the children who have sat beautifully during shine dine for the whole week! They have sat on our top table and been recognised for demonstrating our school values. They also enjoyed a lovely treat!
Here are this week's VIPs in action. Enjoying a before break pack of treat and hot chocolate. Well done for all your hard work this week and what you have achieved.
In History, we have been studying chronology, creating timelines spanning 4,000 years of British and world history. We explored past civilisations and their contemporaneous existence, recognising chronology as a crucial skill for further development.
We had a jam packed afternoon in year 6. We have been using forwards and backwards sketching skills to draw still images. It was lovely to draw to some calm and relaxing music, helping us practice our mindfulness techniques.
In art today we have used a view finder to concentrate on certain parts of a piece of art. We then sketched using techniques such as stippling and hatching.
