Making rainbow fish!
This afternoon we have been scientists. We have been observing sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks in water to see if they are impermeable or permeable. We have enjoyed experimenting and adding new words to our vocabulary.
Super sorting in maths today.
In English on Friday we were working together to build a bridge to help Wilf the Wolf find his back home. We had to work together, listen to each other's ideas and communicate our ideas fairly to build a bridge that our Wolf could use.
We have been creating our own number lines in maths on Friday afternoon with Mrs Hargreaves. We created our own number lines using base 10 and numicon and then labelled them in chalk. Our learning continued inside.
In Mrs Hargreaves' maths session this week we have continued our topic with Place Value. We have been partitioning 3 digit number in lots of different ways. Look out for more next week...
Using Chromebooks in maths now we are in the juniors.
Today we have worked exceptionally hard on our ‘Graveyard Book’ story. Listen to some of our fabulous writers and their oracy skills reading their work.
Having fun in computing with Junior Jam!
Thrive 20.09.24 Y4
In Computing with Junior Jam, we've been diving deep into the world of songs! We learned about all the different parts that make up a melody, rhythm, and harmony. Then, we teamed up with our partners to create our very own musical masterpieces on the iPad
Junior jam are very proud of Year 2 today!
