On the way back from the library, Year 3 spotted Mill Hill Park covered in litter. We came back in the afternoon with gloves, litter pickers, and bin bags. The children worked hard and managed to fill up 5 bags with rubbish! The park looks so much better.
Earlier today, we had an exciting English experience lesson where we visited Mill Hill Library. We explored the world of new and old books and spoke about how books can take us to places we have never been before.
Today in Lego therapy, we built as a team whilst working on our communication skills and helping each other when needed. We had lots of fun!
Donuts and Rhyme Time to celebrate Father’s Day!
We are now having lots of fun doing Soft Archery and Giant Catapults.
We have arrived at Canalside Activity Centre and are starting with an Orienteering competition to capture the Aliens.
This week in Maths we have been learning how to tell the time. So far we have looked at o’clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to and telling the time past the hour.
Literacy Festival
This half term our art topic is Woven Wonders. We have been developing the skill of wrapping with wool using sticks to make magic wands!
