Germs! Having noticed a number of children putting their fingers in their mouth all the time, we decided to explore a germs journey. Mrs Holden led a mini experiment to show them how germs can be transported and how we can get rid of them.
In English we have been looking at instructions! The children had a go at instructing Miss Kay on how to draw a flower. This was tricky, as we realised how precise we have to be to make sure we get the correct result.
In Science this week, we have looked at grouping materials. We used our knowledge around properties from last week to help us.

Today in science we have been learning all about the human skeleton. We have made our own skeletons and labelled the different bones.

Today we have been calculating with money in Maths. We would really appreciate your support in helping children learning the life skill of money at home.
Conducting an experiment in science - which liquid ran the furthest in 30 seconds?
Year 3 are looking at the effects sugary drinks have on there bodies with Brad from Blackburn Rovers. They have been challenged to cut back on sugary drinks and drink more water or milk for 21 days.
