Today in maths we have been dividing into groups of 2.
Measuring in cm and mm from Friday
Today, we have been on a 3D shape hunt around our classroom. The children found lots! Why don’t you ask your child/ren to have a look around your home to see if they can find any more 3D shapes. We would love to see some pictures.
In Maths, we are learning all about 3D shapes.
In RE we learnt the order of the creation story and started to act the days out.
Yesterday afternoon we attempted to recreate art in the style of Wassily Kandinsky. The children attempted this using pastels for the first time.
Did someone say party! This week we are learning all about celebrations in preparation for Aidan’s birthday. The children had a wonderful time learning to prepare and make their own biscuits.
Experience day - being emerged within a deep, dark cave.
We have finished our first class book 'Wonder' and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
In science we have been testing the hardness of rocks and then we have used the the Mohs scale to rate the hardness.
Fantastic Mr Fox Y2
Thank you to everyone that came to our Diwali rhyme time. It was lovely to see you and I know the children love showing off their Diva lamps.
