Friday saw us venture out into the big yard to find as many circles and triangles as we could. We have learnt about the properties of a shape and how to recognise and draw them.

This morning with Junior Jam, in Computing we are using an app called ‘Kids Coding’ to practise more difficult algorithms.
Yesterday in Art, we listened to a story then followed its instructions. This enabled us to practise our painting techniques using primary colours.
Last week in Art we created a painting from the story ‘Princess and the Pea’. We used horizontal lines and different colours to create the different mattresses. These are now up on our wall. We hope you like them!
This morning in Maths, we are ‘adding more’ to a number.
We are making Diva lamps for our Diwali rhyme time.
Our final products of a shelter. Well done year 6 you have worked exceptionally hard this week!
We have enjoyed using our skills to make our pasta with bolognese sauce this morning.
