We love Junior Jam Friday mornings in Year 2.
This term in Maths our topic is addition and subtraction. Today we looked at adding ones, all four children used different methods to solve the problem. What super mathematicians we have in year 2!
In Music with Junior Jam, we are creating a rhythm for our partner to copy using only the note C.

More pictures from our DT week.
This morning we are thinking about and planning how we are going to make our pasta and sauce dishes.
Designing packaging.
Making their final product. Keep your eyes peeled for the baked product. They are currently in the oven!
Trying their biscuit adaptations. This was part of the process in deciding what flavours they would use for their final products. They have designed their own biscuits before making them.
This afternoon in Art we have been mixing colours to see what colours we can make.
This afternoon in RE, we have been learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We then had a go at making a Sukkah.
Adapting a basic recipe. Ask your child about what additions they made.
